Interview with JFK Reloaded developer
December 3, 2004 - by Ian Bogost

Computer and Video Games has an interview with JFK Reloaded developer Kirk Ewing. It's the first comments I've seen from the developers after the original press release. (Thanks to commenter Wombat for pointing it out in the comments to our original post. Given the popularity of the topic, I thought it appropriate to bring up to top-level.)

Comment from Dallas Springer on December 22, 2004

The game is just plain stupid! Shooting the
ex president is not fun. With all do respect the president should not allow it. This country is in a war and someone made a game about shooting the ex president.
Again it is just plain stupid.

Comment from Wynter Springer on December 22, 2004

I don;t think there should be a game
like this why would someone
make a game like this who ever made
this is stupid.

Comment from Ashley Parker on December 22, 2004

A GAME LIKE THIS SHOULD GET A 5 STAR RATING I LIKE IT BECAUSE I DO NOT LIKE JFK THANK YOU
KIRK EWING.

Comment from Alec Baldwin on December 25, 2004

A fascinating simulation potraying a tragic event. Wonderful stuff

Comment from George Bush on January 2, 2005

I don't fink it is very nice them making this game, it should have been me not JR.

Comment from Anonomys on January 22, 2005

This game sets a bad, yet very realistec portrayal of what this country's becoming if laws are not passed to prevent things like this.

Comment from Oz on August 15, 2005

Its done in bad taste and not good for friends and family of JFK - however games like this are bound to be developed. You can jump on the moral high ground but its not worth it. Enjoy its simplicity.

Comment from sanity on June 26, 2006

The game was not made in bad taste. It was made to disprove all the stupid theories with no reasoning behind them.

Anyone above this comment is 40 years or older and has little to no idea what a video game even is. Also, you are all voted most likely to find miniskirts offensive.
